I am passionate about financial markets and like to keep myself abreast of the financial press.
My interests in finance include, but are not restricted to,Capital Markets,Investment and Risk Management,Financial Securities Analysis,Financial Modelling, Stastics and Accounting.During my Master's program I was part of the collegiate Financial Association (COBFI), which launched an International Financial Newsletter. As part of this international project I published a series of 3 well- received financial articles on the Indian Equity Markets(Jan- May 2011). This entailed detailed analyses of the performances of Indian Stock Markets along with comparative financial analyses of various firms in India and other parts of Asia across such sectors as Automobile, Energy and Gas,IT.Eventually I pitched growth stocks based on Fundamental Analysis.
Also, during the first semester of my Master's program,I have been Chief Teaching Assistant for a team of 5 multi-cultural Teaching Assistants, during a financial seminar , conducted in Euromed by an American Fulbright Professor Dr. Nancy J.Scannell, tiled 'The Risk- Return Tradeoff- The lessons learnt by a new generation of managers in the aftermath of a global financial meltdown'.
I am passionate about French as well. Before going to france for my master's I completed three levels in French upto B1 from Alliance Francaise de Bombay. Also, during my master's program I completed a course in Advanced French from my university. The aforementioned aspects, I believe ,justify my inclination toward working with a french multinational.
