Formal elementary learning was acquired with the help of the Irish Christian Brothers from an eminent missionary school in New Delhi, followed by graduation with honours and a university rank in Sociology from the University of Delhi and a post-graduation in Personnel Management (older perspective of HR)from a premier institute at Mumbai,imparting specialised training in human behaviour and issues. The company is involved in assisting client organisations to 'morph', that is to change with times and attain a competitive advantage through method up gradation and attitudinal change. Change facilitation is also attained through different tools including training, coaching and psychometric introspection.
I have built this organisation through my leadership over the last two decades to assimilate consistently the contemporary trends and techniques in order to equip our client organisations to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
1985 - 1988The organisation was involved in manufacturing and marketing car air conditioners and vending machines.
I was involved in not only setting up the infrastructure, but also established the methods of work, and looked after part of the operations in terms of logistics, stores and despatches. Was entirely responsible for instilling the right work culture.
1982 - 1985The company was engaged in the manufacture of steel ingots and grinding media at Khardah, Ghaziabad and Chennai.
I was heading the HR function and was responsible for the corporate HR domain which oversaw the activities at all the three units.
1981 - 1982The company was engaged in the manufacture of auto mobile ancillaries and two-wheelers.

1979 - 1981The company was involved in taking into its fold, the hand loom and handicraft sector by running the mills which were spinning yarn for the weavers and weaving grey cloth for the hand printers and embroiderers. It was also involved in sericulture and supplying silk yarn to the weavers. The cloth and other products were again marketed by the company through retail outlets.
I introduced the concept of employee development despite orthodox and traditional public sector management style.
1973 - 1979The company was involved in manufacturing quality paper and boards. I joined as a Management Trainee and saw my way up through different areas of HRM including recruitment, training, compensation and employee relations and eventually headed a team of eleven.
