Prof. Deo Prakash, has an Excellent educational record throughout, He Completed Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Science & Engineering (B.E.-CSE) with distinctions (with Hons.) from Institute of Engineering & Technology (a premier technical institution of University campus) U.P., in the age of 19 years aprox., probably youngest Computer Engineer having this achievement. Then earned his Master of Technology Degree in Computer Science & Engineering (M. Tech.-CSE) with first division from G.G.S.I.P. University (a First-Rate technical University of Delhi Accredited with “Grade-A” by NAAC-an Apex body of Govt. of India), Delhi and Completed his Ph.D. Degree Course work in Computer Science & Engineering (Ph.D.-CSE) with 9.0 CGPA on 10 point scale from S.M.V.D. University (A Premier Technical university of J&K State legislature- open on I.I.T. pattern & Funded by U.G.C. Under 12(B) & 2(F) section of U.G.C. act-1956 also Accredited by TCS), Kakryal (J&K), India.
He is Editor and Reviewer of several referred International journals of high reputation and published about 20 research papers in International/National, Journals/Conferences of repute. He has published several papers in the journals having very high ISI IMPACT FACTOR.
He has been invited from several institutions and conferences of repute to deliver expert lecturers/ invited expert talks and invited speech in diverse fields.
He is member of various International Associations, Societies and Scientific Committees like Association for Computing Machinery-csta(ACM) and International Association of Engineers etc. He is engaged in research in collaboration with research groups & research laboratories of international repute.
He is Youngest Member of Board of Studies, member of syllabus designing committee and several different committees at School of Computer Science & Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.
Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor in School of Computer Science & Engineering, College of Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Kakryal (J&K), India
Currently he is engaged in research work of Ph.D., guiding various students for their research work. Presently his area of teaching and research are in the emerging fields of Computer Science & Engineering and Nano-Technology like: Network Security, Information Security and Mobile Computing, Trust management, Id based cryptography, Quantum Cryptography, Energy efficient routing and security algorithms, Designing of Energy Efficient Multicasting and broadcasting algorithms, Quality of service (QoS) support for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Quality of Service issues in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks, Designing of Multimedia Data Encryption Algorithms, Multimedia data transmission in wireless sensor networks, Genetic Algorithms- specially for the optimization of multi-objective problems, Data Compression Multilevel & dynamic data compression, Network Security and intrusion detection, Black & Gray hole attacks in Ad Hoc Networks, Nano- Computing, wireless & Nano Communication Networks and nano-sensors.

Responsibilities as an editor: my responsibilities as an editor are to check the quality of the newly submitted research papers to the journal and assign them to the appropriate reviewers (renowned experts of the particular research field), then after reviewing the comments received from reviewers I have to submitting the decision about the research paper to the editor in chief.
