I have a Master in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and 20+ years of international experience, across verticals, in marketing and corporate communication, gathered in Italy, India and Dubai that has brought me much recognition from the Italian industry in Italy and India, culminating in the conferment of the Knighthood of the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity by the President of Italy, H.E. Carlo Azeglio Ciampi in January 2006.
I also speak and write fluent Italian & English; good French and a smattering of German, and in the past have been responsible for product positioning, pricing and launch of brands such as Vespa and Ape' Car on behalf of Piaggio Veicoli Europei SpA, Italy, in the Indian market; spearheading the company's foray into new markets in Nepal, Bangladesh and Srilanka and leading its fact finding missions to launch industrial projects in central Asian countries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. These days I am marketing brand "India" as an ideal destination for Italian investments in the subcontinent.

- Creation of a communication plan in order to position the firm as “Italy’s Bridge to India” to assist the entry of small and medium scale Italian enterprises in the Indian market
- Creation of “Brand India” promotion plan, utilizing the aids created and provided by CII / IBEF in order to highlight the advantages of investing in India to Italian SMEs
- Executing a key role in creating company’s communication tools (website, brochures & fliers, India newsletters, presentations)
- Creation of a pan India and pan Italy network of CA firms, law firms, independent consultants to partner with ICPL in order to assist Italian clients
- Maintaining a direct line of communication with the Italian Government’s representations in India (Embassy of Italy, Italian Trade Commission, Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry) and Indian Government’s representations in Italy
- Organisation of seminars, workshops in Italy in collaboration with local universities, chambers of commerce, industry organization to promote “Brand India” in Italy; highlight growth possibilities in different industries in India and the advantages of operating in the largest free market economy
- Public relations and company’s chief spokesperson in interaction with the Italian print and electronic media
- Responsible for playing a key role in other aspects of the management of the firm (Annual Business Plan, Budgets, HR etc.)
