As a Deputy Commercial Attaché, I handled almost independently, subject only to broad guidelines established by the Commercial Attaché, the under-mentioned industrial sectors of activity :
- Pharmaceuticals, Health & Biotechnology / Medical equipment
- Chemical Industry
- Plastic Industry / Glass industry
- Packaging and Printing Industry
Major responsibilities included :
1) Assisting French companies in their entry strategies
2) Contribution of articles for the benefit of subscribers
3)Regular update on the evolution of relevant sectors of activity
4) Research & collation of information on Indian Pharmaceutical Companies
5)Correspondence in English and French
6)Updating of information regarding Trade Fairs and Exhibitions
7)Preparation of meeting schedules of the Commercial Attaché

My major achivements include :
- I had researched and collated information on the principal actors of the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry with a view to the publication in French of a “Guide” on the major players of the industry. The information collected concerned 48 Indian companies and included information about their different product portfolio, annual turnover, patents held, units of production etc…

- In terms of the mandatory customer satisfaction survey carried out in regard to the paid services rendered by my section in the years 2003 & 2004, all the French companies to whom I had rendered the above-mentioned services had in general expressed their total satisfaction.
