17 years of wide ranging experience in Railway Signalling systems & applications. Expertise in managing roles with technical, commercial & managerial responsibilities for mid to large size projects for suburban and mainline railways. Experienced in managing assignments in complete range of system life cycle, i.e., conception, design, development, manufacturing, construction, testing and maintenance of operational assets. Significant experience in planning, tendering, procurement & contract management.
Currently working on developing & standardising signalling equipment & systems for use on Indian Railway network.
Successfully led multiple signalling renewals projects in Indian Railways. Experienced in providing functional lead in signalling design, possessions planning, test & commission planning, contract administration and asset management of operational railway including faulting and renewals planning.
Successfully interfaced with other railway disciplines like Track, Civils, OHE and Electricals in all the above activities. Led multi-disciplinary teams for accident investigations involving signal passed at danger, derailment etc.
Recently worked on design packages of major Signalling Renewal Schemes of Network Rail UK. Work involved development of project specifications, design specifications, Scheme plan Review, Interlocking Controls design, Review of schematics like location area plans, TFMs, Datalinks and Detailed designs.

RDSO is the central organization of Indian Railways focussed on research, designs & standardization activities for equipments & systems to be used all over Indian Railways. Currently working on design & development of modern signalling equipments like digital axle counters, block proving by axle counters, universal failsafe block interface, fog vision system etc.
2005 - 2009Working with ATKINS on secondment from Indian Railways. Responsibilities include Signalling Schemes development, Specifications development, Interlocking Logic Design, Detailed design and Independent Verification work for various international (Mainly UK Railway) projects.
